Platform Fee Recovery Agreement

What this covers. shedyool earns a platform fee on the tickets and add-ons you sell. In two situations that fee cannot be taken at the time of the sale, so it is recorded as an amount you owe and collected later. This agreement is how that collection works. It does not change how the fee is calculated or how much it is. 2. Cash sales. When you record a cash sale at the box office, the buyer hands money to you. shedyool never receives those funds and no card network or payment processor is involved, so no processing fee is charged on the sale. The platform fee is still earned, and there is nothing in shedyool's hands to take it from. 3. Fee-inclusive pricing. If you have chosen to include fees in your ticket price, the price you advertise is the buyer's total and the platform fee comes out of your proceeds. If a discount reduces a buyer's total to $0.00, the platform fee is still earned, calculated on the original price before the discount, and that order produces no proceeds to take it from. 4. Your platform fee balance. Either situation records the uncollected fee as an amount you owe, called your platform fee balance. Your dashboard shows the current balance. 5. There is no limit on the balance. How much you owe does not stop you selling, and the balance does not expire. 6. Recovery. You authorize shedyool to recover your outstanding platform fee balance from your future electronic proceeds on this organizer account, whichever of the two situations above created it. Recovery is applied order by order and is capped: shedyool will not take more than half of your net proceeds on any single order, calculated after tax, so every order still pays you the larger share. 7. Recovery is final. Once an amount has been recovered, a later refund or dispute on the order it was recovered from does not return that amount to you and does not restore the balance it cleared. 8. Refunds do not reduce the balance. If you refund a cash sale, you return the buyer's money from your own funds. If a fee-inclusive order cost the buyer $0.00, there is nothing for them to be refunded. In either case the platform fee already earned on the original sale remains payable to shedyool. 9. Connected payout account. Cash sales require an active connected payout account, because that account is how the balance is recovered. A balance from fee-inclusive pricing can arise before you have such an account; it remains payable, and shedyool cannot begin recovering it until an active connected payout account exists. 10. Accepted per organizer. This agreement is accepted for one organizer account at a time. Accepting it for one organizer does not accept it for any other organizer you manage.
