shedyool Events ("shedyool," "we," "us," or "our") operates the shedyool Events web platform at events.shedyool.com and the shedyool Access Control iOS application (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Authentication is handled by a third-party identity provider. We store a unique user identifier to link your account to our platform.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank account details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. We receive only a transaction identifier and payment status from Stripe to fulfill your order.
When you purchase tickets, we store your order details including event name, ticket type, quantity, price paid, and order status. This information is necessary to issue your tickets and provide order history.
When you place an order, we record your IP address and browser user-agent string alongside the order. This information is used solely for fraud prevention, chargeback dispute evidence, and platform security. It is not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
The shedyool Access Control iOS app is used by authorized event staff to sell tickets at venues and scan tickets for entry. It may request the following device permissions:
We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate our platform. These providers act as data processors, handling your information strictly on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Processes all payments and handles card data as a data processor on our behalf. PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. Also powers Tap to Pay on iPhone in our iOS app. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We use third-party authentication providers to manage login and account security. Your login credentials are stored securely by these providers. We also use cloud infrastructure and database hosting providers to store account, order, and event data. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect your information.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
We send transactional emails that are necessary to operate the platform, including order confirmations, ticket delivery, refund status updates, and account security notifications. These emails are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
With your explicit consent, event organizers may send you promotional emails about upcoming events and offers. Marketing emails require opt-in consent, which you can grant or revoke at any time from your account settings. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Order and ticket data is retained for record-keeping and to provide order history.
If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, financial, or fraud prevention purposes.

We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or advertising purposes. The shedyool Access Control iOS app does not include any advertising SDKs or third-party analytics trackers.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never passes through or is stored on our servers.
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
