About This Agreement

This Organizer Agreement applies whenever you create an event, sell tickets, or receive payouts through shedyool Events. It is in addition to, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service — if anything in this Agreement conflicts with the Terms of Service, this Agreement controls for organizer activity.

By publishing an event on shedyool, you accept this Agreement on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.

Pricing and Fees

You set the face value of your tickets. The shedyool platform service fee and the Stripe payment-processing fee are added on top and disclosed to the buyer at checkout, unless you elect to absorb either fee in your event settings.

Current fee rates are shown in your organizer dashboard. We may update fees with advance notice. New fees take effect for events you publish after the update.

Payouts

Payouts are processed by Stripe to the bank account or debit card you connect at onboarding. The payout schedule shown in your dashboard is the default; we may hold payouts when there is unusual chargeback activity, fraud risk, or pending disputes, or when required by law.

You are responsible for all taxes owed on payouts you receive. We may issue tax forms (such as 1099-K) when required by applicable law.

Refunds and Cancellations

You must honor the refund policy you selected at event setup. Eligible refund requests should be processed promptly through the organizer dashboard.

If you cancel an event, shedyool will automatically refund all ticket holders to their original payment method, subject to any non-refundable fees disclosed at purchase. Cancellations driven by force majeure (severe weather, public-safety closures, government action) may affect refund timelines.

Refund obligations are between you and the ticket buyer. shedyool may facilitate refunds out of your account balance or, where the balance is insufficient, recover the funds from future payouts.

Chargebacks and Disputes

When a buyer files a payment dispute, you agree to cooperate by supplying evidence (event proof, scan history, communication records) within the time limits the card networks require.

Disputed amounts and chargeback fees may be deducted from your payouts. Excessive chargeback rates may result in payout holds, account limits, or termination.

Customer Data and Privacy

When buyers purchase tickets to your event, we share their name, email address, and order details with you so you can fulfill orders, manage attendance, and provide event-related support.

You may use this information solely to operate the event the buyer purchased tickets to, and to comply with law. You may send marketing communications only to buyers who have opted in to marketing for your events, and every marketing message must include a working unsubscribe link.

You are an independent data controller for any further processing you perform on buyer data. You agree to comply with all applicable privacy and anti-spam laws, including GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and equivalents.

Prohibited Events

You may not list or sell tickets for events that:

  • closeInvolve illegal activity, hate speech, or harassment.
  • closeAre fraudulent, misleading, or designed to take payment without delivering an event.
  • closeInfringe anyone's intellectual property rights or impersonate another organizer, artist, or brand.
  • closeViolate Stripe's restricted-business list or any applicable consumer-protection or licensing law.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop publishing events at any time. Events already on sale must be fulfilled or properly cancelled and refunded.

We may suspend or terminate your organizer access if you violate this Agreement or the Terms of Service, if your activity creates risk for buyers or shedyool, or if we are required to do so by law or our payment processor. We may also delist or unpublish individual events that violate this Agreement.

Termination does not relieve you of obligations to fulfill sold tickets, process refunds, or pay any amounts owed.
